Introduction We run a regular programme of activities - come along and enjoy Christian fellowship with a difference. We also run activities for schools & colleges; church and community groups & local businesses. Activities
From sessions for beginners on flat water; through to an introduction to moving water and on to paddling some of the North of England's more challenging white water rivers the COAC programme is designed to cater for paddlers of all levels. Furthermore, through the summer we aim to undertake an annual multi day canoe trip and to spend some time surfing off the North East coast.
Through the winter months we meet at a local indoor wall for either climbing for fun or looking after a group. But the summer evenings see us out on the local crags of the Yorkshire and Durham Dales.
From gentle, family, riverside walks, through to weekend treks on the high fells. COAC offers an expansive hill walking programme.
We are fortunate to have access to a local indoor projectile range which allows us to practice and introduce groups to archery on a year round basis.
